Look Who's Talking Book.


You can find the
lyrics to the songs
in the Book.
All songs are
original and educational,
teaching all of
the language basics
as well as some
specific speech problems.

Use the Little Language Songs for Little Ones to reinforce the techniques in the book. Also use our Castanet Teaching Toys to help your child find the beat of the music and reinforce pre-reading skills.

Our fun songs feature children's
voices in six of the twenty numbers.
Also featured are fun sound effects such as
animals, space, and ocean adventure sounds.

Each Little Language Song was designed with a specific speech and/or language goal in mind. Information is provided in the book on how to use each song. Some brief examples are listed below:

1. Do You Hear The Way Sounds Ring?

- Listen for the phonetic sound that goes with each alphabet letter, make it into a game.

2. Limericks

- Listen for the letter sounds T, L, H, and W.

3. An Undersea Adventure

- Interact with lots of imagination, more difficult commands and cross-over techniques.

4. What a Colorful World!

- Listen for difficult colors and talk about nature.

5. Do You Know What It Means To Be A Shape?

- Listen for names of shapes, imagine the shapes of the other words in the song.

6. Imagination

- Take a trip that sparks imagination while hearing all of the English vowels and diphthongs.

7. Garden Dance

- A song used to facilitate production of the "r" sound through use of abutting words.

8. Can You Count to Ten?

- Help your child count slowly in this song.

9. Busy Days

- Sing the days of the week and listen for rhyming words.

10. Changing Seasons

- Sing about difficult time and seasonal concepts.

11. The Spider Shines Her Shoes

- Distinguish between commonly lisped sounds and correct productions of "s", "sh", "ch"
and "th".

12. All Aboard

- Provides models for a normal process called "velar fronting".

13. Celebrate the Holidays

- Sing months of the year and holiday vocabulary.

14. Good Manners Are The Key

- Listen for respectful vocabulary and the golden rule.

15. What Do We Eat?

- Sing meal vocabulary and talk about food categories.

16. A Trip to the Fair

- Listen for homonyms and talk about what they mean.

17. Everybody On Your Feet

- Follow the commands and motions, both slow and fast in this song.

18. Everybody Feels This Way

- Sing about emotions and having different feelings.

19. Pets

- Listen for body part vocabulary and have your child point to the body parts.

20. Things I Love

- Sing about simple pleasures and relaxing - a stress reducer for children as well as
the parents.
